MakeZine.com: For the do-it-yourself geek

O'Reilly strikes back with a 'zine for the technology do-it-yourself equivalent. Not sure if this applies to you? Take the following test to see if you should subscribe to MAKE's RSS feed:

You haven't just heard of overclocking, you compete in overclocking events.

Making parallel port disco lights sounds like a good idea.

Installing SLAX on an iPod Nano means something to you.

You've already made a vacuum bazooka - or want to learn how.

You can find a use for an 11,000 volt taser cannon.

So you see, it isn't just for the computer hacker, it's for the everything hacker. MAKE has free/paid content (you can subscribe to their mook) and generally has fun stuff to read.
