91 Percent of Americans Oblivious to RSS

The Pew Internet &amp;amp; American Life Project has
completed a survey
(PDF here) on recognition of Internet terms,
revealing that only nine percent of Americans know what RSS is. (Somewhat surprisingly, a greater percentage (13
percent) understand podcasting.) But as Forrester&amp;#8217;s Charlene Li
pointed out in her blog, low RSS recognition can be
partly due to Yahoo! helping people use the technology without telling them what it is. [via
